Community Projects
If your project strengthens community, you may be eligible for reduced architectural fees or free design services from LD Arch Design. Services include architectural programming and space planning, design concept presentation materials for grant writing, and design feasibility studies, as well as full design services for small projects through permitting and construction documents. I have a particular love for the process of designing with groups of people and for seeing a community vision come to fruition.
Your organization does not have to be a registered non-profit, but you must be able to demonstrate that your project will provide public benefit and build community. Preference for pro bono design is given to projects that seek to engage many people in the design process. Everyone is a creative person and projects are better with input from many participants.
